Wow! Another huge snowstorm. This one dumped about ten inches
by the time it finished around noon on Sunday. John was out
shoveling for over an hour getting everything cleared off so
the family could drive to church. A phone call came letting us
know that church services were cancelled. The snow plow still
hadn't come by when John finished up and came into the house.
Joyce and Heather looked up and started laughing. An icicle
had grown on John's glasses! Heather took some pictures of
John in the doorway. A few minutes after John came inside the
snow plow finally came by and filled in the driveway again. So,
John put everything back on, went outside, and shoveled out the
driveway. All is well and warm now. Also included on this page are some pictures of our Christmas tree in the corner of the living room. Normally Joyce tries to have all the Christmas decorations taken down before her birthday rolls around, but things got delayed some. All the ornaments have been put away, but the lights are still there. Joyce wanted some pictures to put on her blog, so Heather snapped a few. At the end of this page is a 30 second video taken from the center of Cherokee Ave showing the aftermath of the storm. |
