In 2022 John started designing an addition to the 1968 ranch style
house. After many design iterations the final design was converted
into build prints by architect Steve Maulin in Dec 2023. Drawings of

here. This project will be tracked on this website. RPM Builders out of Hudson, NH, is the general contractor for this job . A contract was signed on 2024 April 29. Completion is estimated to be Nov 2024. Two Brinno BCC2000 Plus time lapse cameras are being used to record the activity. I started with the 16 GB micro SD card that came with the camera, but later on bought a 128 GB card. I'm also using an old cell phone to record video. It also has a 128 GB micro SD card. I put it on a tripod and record what the activities of the day are from various angles. At the end of each day I use the Kdenlive video editor on my Ubuntu Linux server to make an mp4 video. After a lot of testing I decided that 1280x720 is the optimal resolution for the videos. That allows them to stream without buffering.
